REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

 

Congratulations on your provisional admission to Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, Lafia, for the 2024/2025 Academic Session. Please follow the steps below to complete your registration:

 

Step 1: Visit https://portal.imap.edu.ng/imap/.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Applicant’ button.

Step 3: Enter your Applicant ID (e.g., ND202500000) and your password, then click ‘LOGIN’.

Step 4: Go to ‘My Application’ and click on ‘Accept Admission’.

Step 5: An invoice for your admission letter payment will appear. Click ‘Select Payment Option’.

Step 6: Click on ‘Continue’.

Step 7: Select ‘Pay CBS Invoice’.

Step 8: You’ll be directed to the payment page for the ADMISSION LETTER.

Step 9: Select ‘Online Payment’ and click ‘Pay’.

Step 10: A window with three payment options will appear. Choose one:

  • ATM (to use your bank card)
  • Transfer (using PC or Phone – not recommended)
  • USSD (using your phone)

Note: For USSD payment, Example, if your bank is First Bank, follow the prompt code provided, dial it on your phone, and press ‘Send’. A receipt will be generated for download or printing.

 

Step 11: Once payment is successful, you’ll be automatically redirected to the download page. Download the following documents:

  • Provisional Admission Letter, Admission Procedure, Clearance Letter and Acceptance Letter

Step 12: Print the Clearance Letter and take it, along with your original credentials (WAEC/NECO Results, Indigene Certificate, Notification of Admission Letter, JAMB Admission Letter, and Medical Check evidence from the School Clinic), to: Head of Department, Dean of School and Bursary for signing

 

Once cleared, proceed to pay your school fees.

Step 13: Log back into your portal. Under ‘My Application’, select ‘Pay School Fee’ and follow Steps 5–11 to complete the school fees payment.

Step 14: After payment, log into your portal again to retrieve your automatically generated Registration Number.

Step 15: Log in once more and click the ‘Applicant’ button to view your Registration Number and default password. Save these securely, then log out.

Step 16: Log in as ‘Student’ (not ‘Applicant’), using your Registration Number as Username and the default password. Change this password to a secure one of your choice.

Step 17: Go to ‘My Course Registration’ and select each course to register by clicking on each             of the courses

Step 18: Download and print four copies of the Course Registration Form. Sign your section, then proceed to get signatures from: Head of Department, Dean of School, Dean of Students’ Affairs and Academic Secretary (collect four files from them beforehand)

 

Note: Follow the signing order and ensure all documents are complete.
